Birmingham Health and Wellbeing Partnership
The Birmingham Health and Wellbeing Partnership (BHWP) is made up of Birmingham City Council, the three Birmingham PCTs (Birmingham East and North, South Birmingham, and Heart of Birmingham), and other partners from the voluntary and community sectors.
The BHWP was created as part of the strategic arrangements for the city to address health inequalities. To drive this work the partnership has commissioned major studies into areas such as improving life expectancy and reducing infant mortality.
