Be Birmingham's new director Jackie Mould brings the city 20 years experience in the public and voluntary sector. For the last seven years she was responsible for the strategic direction and delivery of £100million of European funding for sustainable community development and social inclusion in South Yorkshire.
Since joining Be Birmingham (BB) in April 2007, Jackie has worked to coordinate the city's key partners and organisations to improve life in Birmingham.
Our team
The Be Birmingham team is responsible for supporting our partners to deliver Birmingham 2026 through the Local Area Agreement (LAA).
Our functions include:
- Supporting partners to develop and implement the city's strategies for the LAA, Birmingham 2026 as well as the city's neighbourhoods, community engagement, and cohesion plans
- Working with BB partners to reduce service delivery duplication whilst improving efficiency and impact
- Providing performance and financial reports as well as organising Be Birmingham Executive Board meetings
