Giving Hope, Changing Lives
The Bishop of Birmingham is leading an ambitious new Social Inclusion Process for the city.
This six month process will engage with people across Birmingham to explore how issues of exclusion and poverty can be addressed more effectively.
Its aim is to understand the impact of social and economic exclusion, to explore what works in tackling disadvantage and to make recommendations on the practical responses needed to achieve our overall vision for a high quality of life for all Birmingham citizens.
Commissioned by the Be Birmingham executive board, the process will enlist the combined leadership and support from our partners across the public, private, voluntary and community sectors.
Jackie Mould, director of Be Birmingham, said: “Our vision for this process is to develop a new approach that will help raise aspirations and bring lasting change to the quality of life of our most disadvantaged communities and neighbourhoods.”
