Children and Young People's Partnership
Our vision is for Birmingham to be an inspiring place where all children and young people enjoy living, learning, developing and achieving together whilst feeling safe and secure in a city that is child and family friendly.
What does the partnership do?
We have identified six priority outcomes that have emerged from national and local research. These outcomes mean different things for children at successive stages of their development. Our strategy will improve children’s and young people’s:
- Physical health
- Behaviour
- Emotional health
- Literacy and numeracy
- Social literacy
- Job skills
Brighter Futures is the strategy in Birmingham for improving the lives of all the city's children and young people.
