Neighbourhoods

The Birmingham Neighbourhoods Approach is an innovative and ambitious approach to tackling deprivation using neighbourhood level interventions.

The Neighbourhoods Board oversees the delivery of this programme which is made up of three delivery plans:

It will be measured by National Indicator 5 which is citizen’s overall/general satisfaction with the local area and a local indicator of closing the gap between priority or at risk neighbourhoods and the Birmingham average on the neighbourhoods deprivation index.

2. Strengthening neighbourhoods
